Pack 1020 Cub Scouts have many opportunities to enjoy family camping and the great outdoors, as well as many other enjoyable Pack activities.

Cub Fun Day
An adventurous day including a family picnic, BB guns, archery, and many more fun activities.
Space Derby
Cubs make wooden rockets out of kits provided by the Pack and race them against other Scouts. The rockets have wind-up propellers powered by rubber bands. The Rockets run along a 40-foot fishing-line track and are judged on speed and distance. This is a great event!
Pinewood Derby
Cubs build and decorate pinewood derby cars and race them down a 25-foot ramp - a classic event that is always one of the highlights of the year.
Raingutter Regatta
Cubs build and decorate miniature sailboats and race against one another using only their own lung power and enthusiasm!
Blue and Gold Banquet & Dessert Contest
A banquet to celebrate the birthday of Scouting and to recognize Cub Scout achievements and the ranks they have earned. This is then followed by fun activities.
Scouts make and decorate their own desserts (with just a little help from Mom or Dad!), then we all get to enjoy eating them!
Service Projects
Scouting for Food is the largest single-day food collection event in Dallas and one of the largest in the nation. On one day, approximately 30,000 Scouts go door-to-door collecting non-perishable food item for the less fortunate and deliver them to a local food bank.
